POPULAR SERVICES AND DOCUMENTS WE OFFER

The documents in an estate plan are tools. Our job is to determine which ones make sense for your circumstances and use them together to create a plan that reflects your wishes, protects the people you care about, and makes things easier when the time comes.
Below are some of the planning tools we most commonly use when building an estate plan.
01
Deeds
For the right Florida property owner, we can use a Lady Bird deed to arrange for real estate to pass directly to your chosen beneficiaries at death without requiring that property to go through probate. This can provide a relatively simple solution for clients whose primary concern is what will happen to their home or other Florida real estate while allowing them to retain significant control of the property during their lifetime.

04
Durable Power of Attorney
We can use a Durable Power of Attorney to give someone you trust the legal authority to handle important financial and legal matters for you when necessary. The goal is to have that authority established before an emergency occurs, reducing the risk that your family will be left trying to figure out how to manage your affairs when you are unable to do so yourself.

We tailor the powers granted to the needs of your plan rather than simply handing every client the same document.
02
Wills
We can use a will to create clear instructions for how you want your estate handled after your death, including who should receive your property and who you trust to administer your estate. For parents, we can also use your will to address guardianship of minor children and incorporate your wishes into a broader plan for their inheritance.
04
Advanced Health Care Directive
We can use advance healthcare directives to identify who you trust to make medical decisions for you and document your wishes regarding your care. We can also address access to medical information so that the people you have chosen are better positioned to communicate with healthcare providers and act on your behalf when necessary.
03
Trusts
We can use a revocable trust to help you avoid probate for properly funded assets, provide for the management of your property if you become incapacitated, and create more detailed instructions for your beneficiaries after your death. A trust also gives us considerable flexibility when planning for young beneficiaries, blended families, multiple properties, or circumstances where an outright inheritance may not be the best solution.

Additional Estate Planning
The documents above are some of the basic building blocks we use to create an estate plan, but they are not the limits of what we can do. More complex estates, family circumstances, or planning goals may require additional documents, specialized trusts, or other planning strategies.
When your situation calls for something more, we can develop a more comprehensive plan tailored to your assets, your family, and what you want to accomplish.
